We develop AI Cybersecurity Analysts that augment Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Since our creation 2 years ago, we have:Raised €14 million in seed funding led by EQT Ventures and Forgepoint CapitalBeen incubated both by Microsoft (genAI studio) and Meta (AI program)Deployed our solution to Global 500 companies and leading MSSPs in EMEA and NA (Equans, Nomios, Globalconnect, Almond)We’re now looking for a Sales Engineer (Presales) to be the technical backbone of our sales team and help us drive high-impact customer engagements across EMEA.What will you doAs a Sales Engineer, you’ll partner closely with Account Executives to shape technical strategy, deliver compelling demos, and lead Proof of Value (POV) projects that demonstrate tangible impact. You’ll work directly with SOC teams, understand their tool stacks, and help them adopt Qevlar’s AI SOC agent with confidence.Your responsibilities will include:Core ResponsibilitiesSupport Account Executives throughout the entire sales cycle as the technical point of contactDeliver tailored, story-driven demos adapted to each customer’s SOC environmentScope, lead, and execute end-to-end POVs, demonstrating measurable impact (MTTR reduction, accuracy uplift, analyst-hours saved)Build trust with technical evaluators and decision-makersAnalyze customer SOC architectures (SIEM, XDR, EDR, cloud, identity, network)Map Qevlar’s capabilities to customer workflows and identify potential blockers earlyRun hands‑on technical sessions (API integration, investigation flows, architecture deep dives)Address questions around AI explainability, data privacy, compliance, and deploymentAct as the voice of the field for Product & Engineering, contributing to demos, playbooks, and integration guidesStay up to date on SOC trends, threat evolution, and AI advancementsWho you areWe’re seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, combines autonomy with strong collaboration, and can translate complex technical topics into clear value for customers.Requirements3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally inside a SOC or in presales for SIEM/XDR/SOARStrong understanding of alert triage, incident response, and SOC workflowsComfortable working with enterprise and MSSP environmentsExperience leading technical customer interactions (workshops, troubleshooting, POVs)Familiarity with SIEM platformsFamiliarity with EDR/XDR stacks (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne, etc.)Solid understanding of SOAR / IR workflowsHands‑on experience with APIs, JSON, Postman, and basic scripting (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)Cloud concepts (GCP, Azure, AWS) and basic networkingExcellent communication skills with the ability to build technical championsFluency in English; additional languages are a plusDegree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experienceWhy join usWork on meaningful problems with real-world impact in cybersecurityA high‑impact role in a small, international, fast‑moving team where your contributions directly shape the companyHelp build the future of a product already making noise in AI + security circlesA company culture that values autonomy, ownership, and creativityOpportunity for equity and early ownershipFlexibility on location — remote‑friendly or join us in our beautiful Paris 9th arrondissement officeIf you’re excited about helping security teams adopt cutting‑edge AI, we’d love to hear from you.
