Job Description
As a Presales Engineer, you act as the key connector between our Sales, Product, and Customer teams. You will act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer journey, from discovery to solution design. You will demonstrate our product, translate its capabilities into tangible business value, and guide a wide range of stakeholders toward the best solution for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Drive the technical and functional evaluation stage of the overall sales process, ensuring that each proposed solution directly addresses the customer’s or prospect’s business needs and objectives.
Partner closely with the Sales team to articulate Yousign value proposition, acting as both a product expert and a strategic advisor.
Act as trusted advisor to prospects and customers in the functional and technical design and development of their end‑to‑end solution.
Own all technical engagements with prospects throughout the sales cycle, clearly communicating Youtrust’s value, addressing challenges, and driving opportunities to successful closure.
Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
Develop and deliver high quality presentations and product demonstrations, in alignment with the commonly defined sales strategy.
Support development of Youtrust international footprint.
Lead responses on RFI / RFP processes, define the tender strategy with the Lead Sales and coordinate input across multiple internal teams.
Ensure a smooth handover of the client to the Technical Success team, providing all context needed for successful customer onboarding and long‑term value realization.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a similar customer‑facing technical role within B2B SaaS.
Strong technical background and solid understanding of KYC / KYB industry and/or Identity Verification.
Strong ability to connect business needs with technical solutions, demonstrating both strategic thinking and hands‑on problem‑solving.
Passionate about educating prospects and customers on your area of expertise, and skilled at building and executing structured evaluation plans with prospects.
Confident communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, value‑driven messages, articulating both the business benefits and technical advantages of our solution to diverse audiences.
Proven track record partnering with sales teams to drive successful evaluations and close mid‑market opportunities.
Fluency in French (native level) and proficiency in German is a strong plus.
