Function Description

Responsibilities

Maintaining watch at the DP control desk, overseeing the dynamic positioning system and monitoring vessel logistics
Carrying out instructions from the Chief Mate or Master
Ensuring full compliance with QHSE and SMS protocols
Supervising loading / discharging operations and managing (de-)ballasting procedures
Leading junior officers and deck ratings in daily operations
Operating all onboard navigation systems
Performing routine maintenance on deck, including lifesaving and safety equipment
