Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling to studentsDevelop and support existing programs to promote personal growth, and social-emotional well-beingCollaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address student needsHelp in identifying the students at risk and do the follow upCommunicate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and concernsCreate and maintain accurate and up-to-date student recordsProvide crisis intervention and support as neededParticipate in professional development and stay current with trends and best practices in the fieldSupport in the organisation of pastoral events, such as Word Mental Health day or Safer internet day.Teach PSHE and organise specific workshops for Primary and Secondary studentsQualificationsMaster's degree in counseling or related fieldState licensure or certification as a school counselorStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience working with diverse populationsStrong understanding of child development and ability to work with students of all agesExperience working with different age groupsConfidence with adult interaction (parents meetings, external professional meetings)
