Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher at Politecnico di Milano, based in Milan, Italy. The Postdoctoral Researcher will be responsible for conducting advanced research in the field of embedded wearable systems and sensors, with specific focus on capacitive sensors. The role develops along two years to perform experiments, analyze data, and collaborate with the research team (3 faculties, 3 PhD students) to achieve project goals. The position also involves contributing to academic publications and teaching activities, mentoring students, and participating in collaborative research initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills and ability to perform advanced experimental procedures
Proficiency in research methodologies and expertise in sensor integration, embedded system design and firmware development.
Experience in data analysis and interpreting quantitative and qualitative research outcomes
PhD in Engineering, or related scientific disciplines
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills
Familiarity with international research collaborations is an advantage
Fluency in English is required; additional languages, particularly Italian, are a plus.
