Job Summary
As a Parts Counterperson at Classic Toyota - Wilkesboro, you will play a vital role in our dealership's success by providing exceptional customer service and assisting our customers in finding the parts they need for their vehicles. This is a full‑time position with a combination of base salary and commission, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. This individual contributor role requires a strong knowledge of automotive parts and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. The job is located in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina.
Compensation & Benefits
The compensation for this role is $45,000 to $65,000 per year, paid semi‑monthly. In addition to the base salary, there is also a commission structure in place to reward outstanding performance. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Identify and locate automotive parts based on customer needs
Use parts manuals, computer databases, and other resources to find and order parts
Recommend additional products or services to customers when appropriate
Keep track of inventory levels and order new parts as needed
Price and label parts accurately
Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Keep up‑to‑date with new parts and automotive technology
Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with automotive parts
Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functionsExcellent customer service and communication skills
Computer proficiency, specifically with parts databases and systems
Ability to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
Valid driver's license
