GENERAL MISSION
The Head of In Vitro Operations is responsible for the strategy, coordination, and execution of in vitro studies. He / she supervises the technical teams, ensures the scientific and regulatory quality of the studies, and oversees the proper conduct of experimental protocols in compliance with Quality standards. He / she acts as the sole point of contact between the In Vitro teams and the Scientific Management.
REPORTING LINE
The position reports directly to the CSO.
DESCRIPTION OF MAIN ACTIVITIES

Designs and ensures the implementation of the operational strategy of the In Vitro department;
Manages the teams working within the In Vitro platform;
Oversees client in vitro studies: contributes to the drafting of financial protocols, study design, delivery of results, and preparation of reports;
Performs statistical analyses of the results obtained, organizes and formats data (graphs, scientific presentations), and ensures team compliance with experimental protocols;
Supervises production activities;
Ensures compliance and reliability of the results generated by the production teams;
Manages the budget and necessary investments to ensure the smooth running of studies;
Develops and enhances production service performance;
Ensures and optimizes quality monitoring.

JOB SPECIFICS
International travel 1 to 2 times per year, up-to-date certification in animal experimentation required.
SKILLS
Technical skills: Experience in cell biology and molecular biology, fluency in English, ability to synthesize and analyze scientific information.
Behavioral skills: Strong communication, rigor, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

EDUCATION: PhD in Biology, Neurosciences, Pharmacology, or qualified Pharmacist.
