Job Overview :
Meeting Area, Frequency and Power requirements are some of the most meaningful activities in CPU development and require a large amount of computing, as well as analyzing large datasets to extract relevant information.
Responsibilities :
Automate, manage and improve flow environment, dependencies management, continuous integration, job dispatch mechanism, in-house results database and reports / results viewers.
Profile implementation flow resources usage (memory, #threads) to help find flow bottleneck and possible improvement.
Help produce improved Power / Performance / area CPU micro-architecture.
Required Skills and Experience :
Preferably graduated from a University or Engineering School, in Computer Science or related. First experience with scripting / automation would be welcomed.
Database creation and maintenance (SQL / SQLAlchemy).
Knowledge of continuous integration environment (Jenkins or Bamboo for example).
Scripting (Python, TCL, Bash) and experience with data analysis and visualization frameworks, for automation, user interface and user friendliness.
Exposure to Confluence and Jira to detail and monitor activities.
Ability to schedule own workload and plan tasks.
Good interpersonal skills.
Nice To Have Skills and Experience :
Understanding of Power versus Performance versus Area tradeoff in typical CMOS design.
Working in UNIX / Linux environment, with bug tracking and source code control systems, especially GIT.
Able to work in French and in English.
