Our technology, PRIMO, offers scientists the ability to control and to reproduce the cellular microenvironment for creating optimized 2D and 3D in‑vitro models. Thisbioengineering tool relies on a contactless and maskless optical module (PRIMO) and a dedicated software to allow many different applications such as functionalization and photopolymerization.

Alvéole has an exciting opportunity for a Field Application Engineer to actively participate in the worldwide development of Alvéole’s business by ensuring customer success using Alvéole’s technology.
This role is primarily focused on customer training and support while also including a contribution to R&D and production activities as a cell biology specialist to support and strengthen the biological expertise in the company.
For this position, we are seeking a motivated individual with scientific background, based in Paris area.
The Field Application Engineer will report to the Sales and Marketing Director.
Key responsibilities
Perform hardware and software installations of the Primo technology and related microscope parts on customer sites
Deliver remote, Alvéole in house and customer or distributor on‑site demonstrations and training
Educate customers on the use of the technology by delivering pre‑ and post‑sales, application and technical support in a timely and professional manner
Manage the field maintenance service and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive support
Track and report activities within the Customer Relationship Management tool (Sales Force) according to internal procedures
Optimize existing application workflows based on users’ feedback
Manage collaboration with key research partners and carry out proof‑of‑concept experiments for new applications
Become the scientific expert for marketing activities with missions such as co‑developping sales and marketing materials (ie application notes, communication contents, …) and participate actively in international scientific conferences
Be in charge of the laboratory supplying and the reagents production
Dynamic and customer‑oriented team player
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Good verbal and written communication abilities to effectively deliver technical presentations and application notes
Ability to absorb detailed technical information
Position Requirements
Engineer or PhD in Biology, Biophysics or related field with a knowledge of cell culture
First experience in the life sciences industry is a plus
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Hands‑on experience in cell biology and microscopy (cell culture, fluorescence imaging, etc.)
International work experience is highly valued
Willingness to travel (≈40 %) in Europe and occasionally in international countries
Work in a small and dynamic company with a multidisciplinary team
Evolve in an international environment with worldwide customers and distributors
Work with various projects and multitask
