Helvetia Insurance France invites applications for the role of Responsable Controlling & Stratégie. The role focuses on financial communication, profitability analysis, regulatory compliance, and strategic initiatives for the Market Unit France.
Responsibilities
Principal mission: Deliver operational and managerial responsibilities.
Activités opérationnelles

Contribute to the evolution of financial information systems.
Develop financial monitoring matrices.
Ensure the reliability of financial information for the Group.
Maintain regulatory awareness and implement it locally.
Gather and relay relevant information to various committees (Comop, Corisk, Reserving Committee, Finance, General Management, CSE, etc.).
Enhance knowledge of transport & specialty insurance to benchmark Market Unit performance.
Participate in cross‑functional projects to improve profitability management.
Advise on the tools supporting digitization of processes and data quality.

Activités managériales

Ensure procedures are respected and applied by the team.
Promote cohesion, dynamism, and positive team spirit.
Conduct performance evaluations and monitoring.
Set and track individual objectives.
Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
Propose organizational improvements.
Lead team activities and results.
Represent the Managing Director by conveying strategy and directives.
Support recruitment and career progression.
Champion change management and well‑being policies (RSE, QVT).
Encourage diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

Academic background: Bac+4/5 or Master 2.
4 to 8 years of experience in comparable roles.
Familiarity with the financial industry or banking/brokerage sectors is an added advantage.
Strong managerial competencies.
